Cabinets for Every Room in your Home!
When people think of cabinets, they automatically think kitchens and bathrooms...and for good reason. Well-made cabinetry is the cornerstone of any expert kitchen or bathroom design. But cabinets are capable of being used in many different ways
How would you like to have this laundry room, for example. These classic white Shaker-style cabinets offer loads of storage space in a room that is often overlooked. And the dark-stained butcher block counter top provides the complement to the cabinets. It almost makes you want to get dirty just so you can do the wash.
Everybody loves White Shaker Cabinets!
White shaker-style cabinets are all the rage these days. And with good reason. These classic cabinets have clean lines and a refreshing color palate that goes with just about every kind of decorating style. They are perfect for kitchen and bathroom alike. Take a look at these photos and you will see what we mean.
From Dark and Dreary to Light and Airy!
Open-concept design is a great way to maximize your home's flow and ease of use. It's not always easy to accomplish, especially in an older home.
Our client wanted to give their new home a lighter, airier feel, but couldn't do a total open-concept.
Our solution was to take down the wall separating two rooms and flip the script. We moved and expanded the kitchen into what was once the dining room and created a spacious eating area complete with a custom-made banquette where the kitchen had been.
Suddenly the dark, cramped space became a light-filled chef's kitchen with more than triple the number cabinets, a handy island, a pantry, wine fridge and granite countertops that just go on and on.
The solid-wood White Shaker cabinets matched perfectly with the clean, fresh aesthetic the client was looking for. Just scroll these photos and watch this kitchen go from drab to fab!
Today's hottest design trend!
We don't need to say that shiplap is all the rage these days. It's all over design magazines and HGTV. And why not? It's a budget-friendly style that complements pretty much any home design.
In this kitchen, for example, we used shiplap to create a custom-built facade for an unsightly range hood. We painted the wood planks to match the cabinets and added a strip of wood-stained shiplap that mimics the custom open shelving that you will see as you scroll through these photos.
Shiplap is a simple way to make an ordinary renovated kitchen into a showstopper. It's that artistic eye and attention to detail you will only find with Cabinets of Collingswood.
Yes, it's true, big things do come in small packages...even when it comes to kitchens. Here's a small, dated kitchen that had tons of potential, but desperately needed some TLC.
We demoed the space, removed the soffit and replaced everything with classic Shaker-style solid-wood cabinets in a warm grey stain accented by modern black door handles and drawer pulls. The tired linoleum floor was covered with gorgeous cork-backed vinyl flooring. The back splash is a ceramic tile that elegantly mimics the look of marble with none of the upkeep. And, as the perfect compliment, the client selected stainless steel appliances in a slate grey finish, offering a look that is both contemporary and timeless.
This once sad space now has tons of storage, increased functionality and a look that only adds to the home's value and appeal.
